Establishment of Besao Emergency Hospital in Bontoc, Mountain Province

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4904

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BESAO, SUBPROVINCE OF BONTOC, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the Bureau of Medical Services, a fifteen-bed capacity hospital in the Municipality of Besao, Subprovince of Bontoc, Mountain Province, to be known as the Besao Emergency Hospital. The site of said hospital shall be provided by the Municipal Council of Besao in consultation with the Director of Medical Services. acd

SECTION 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and operation of the said hospital during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd
