REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7735
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY POBLACION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAWAB, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LORENZO S. SARMIENTO, SR. NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in Barangay Poblacion in the Municipality of Mawab, Province of Davao, to be known as the Lorenzo S. Sarmiento, Sr. National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. casia
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Republic Act No. 7663 for the Department of Education, Culture and Sports intended for the operational expenses of newly legislated high schools. Thereafter, the amount needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
