Change of Name of Callawa National High School in Davao City to Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. National High School
Republic Act No. 6822, enacted on December 18, 1989, officially renames Callawa National High School in Davao City to Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. National High School in honor of its benefactor, the late Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. The Act empowers the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to establish rules and regulations for its implementation. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6822
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE CALLAWA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN DAVAO CITY TO GORGONIO TAJO, SR. NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The Callawa National High School in Davao City shall hereafter be known as the Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. National High School, in honor of its donor, the late Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. acd
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered, authorized and directed to issue rules and regulations to implement the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
