Establishment of Animal Breeding Station in Nabunturan, Davao

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5015

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ANIMAL BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NABUNTURAN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, TO BE KNOWN AS NABUNTURAN ANIMAL BREEDING STATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1.  There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, an animal breeding station in the Municipality of Nabunturan, Province of Davao, to be known as the Nabunturan Animal Breeding Station.

SECTION 2.  The Director of Animal Industry shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. acd

SECTION 3.  The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said animal breeding station. Said sum shall be expended by the Director of Animal Industry, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials; for construction of buildings, sheds, corrals, and other structures; for salaries and wages of personnel; and for such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
