Establishment of Animal Breeding Station in Monkayo, Davao

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5016

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ANIMAL BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONKAYO, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, TO BE KNOWN AS MONKAYO ANIMAL BREEDING STATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1.  There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, an animal breeding station in the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Davao, to be known as Monkayo Animal Breeding Station. aisa dc

SECTION 2.  The Director of Animal Industry shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 3.  The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said animal breeding station, said sum to be expended by the Director of Animal Industry subject to the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials; for the construction of buildings, sheds, corrals and other structures; for the salaries and wages of personnel; and for such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 4.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
