REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3162
AN ACT TO ESTABLISH AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF INFANTA, PROVINCE OF QUEZON, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Infanta, Province of Quezon. The site for the said hospital shall be in a public land of said town which is hereby set aside for this purpose, to be determined by the said Director of Medical Services in consultation with the Director of the Bureau of Lands.
SECTION 2. Upon recommendation of the Director of Medical Services, the President shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public land located in the Municipality of Infanta, said province, as may be necessary and convenient for the hospital site. cdt
SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said hospital for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred and sixty-two. Such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
