Establishment of a Municipal Hospital in San Andres, Romblon
Batas Pambansa Blg. 272, enacted on November 13, 1982, establishes the San Andres Municipal Hospital in the Municipality of San Andres, Romblon, with a ten-bed capacity and secondary level capability. The hospital will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, and funding for its establishment and operation will be sourced from appropriations designated for new hospitals as per Presidential Decree No. 1177. Subsequent operational costs will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on October 17, 1983.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL WITH A TEN-BED CAPACITY AND SECONDARY LEVEL CAPABILITY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN ANDRES, PROVINCE OF ROMBLON, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN ANDRES MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister (Ministry of Health), a municipal hospital in the Municipality of San Andres, Province of Romblon, to be known as the San Andres Municipal Hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount needed for the operation of the hospital shall be determined in accordance with Section 40 of Presidential Decree No. 1177 and charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Health intended for new hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Minister of Health shall determine the manner by which said hospital shall be made operational.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
