Efficient Use of Paper Rule
On January 17, 2012, the Philippine Supreme Court issued a resolution regarding the proposed rules for the efficient use of paper and court time. The Court decided to separate these two proposals, assigning the proposal for the efficient use of court time a new docket number (A.M. No. 12-1-9-SC). Additionally, the Court will await recommendations from the Committee on the Revision of the Rules of Court concerning the proposed rule for the efficient use of paper. This decision is part of ongoing efforts to enhance court efficiency and resource management.

Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated January 17, 2012, which reads as follows: CEDScA
"A.M. No. 11-9-4-SC (Re: Proposed Rule for the Efficient Use of Paper and the Court Time). — The Court Resolved to:
(a) SEPARATE the Proposed Rule for the Efficient Use of Paper from the Proposed Rule for the Efficient Use of Court Time;
(b) DOCKET the matter of the Proposed Rule for the Efficient Use of Court Time as A.M. No. 12-1-9-SC; and
(c) AWAIT the recommendation of the Committee on the Revision of the Rules of Court on the Revised Proposed Rule for the Efficient Use of Paper in accordance with the resolution of November 15, 2011." Brion, J., on official leave. (adv51) CcAESI
