Proclamation No. 1152, approved and issued today on the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, excludes from the operation of Proclamation No. 69 dated September 23, 1954, for disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, a portion of land described therein and containing an area of One Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Four (1,854) square meters. casia
In view of the necessity of maintaining the said area indefinitely for public use, especially in the interest of tourism, you are hereby directed to see to it that the disposition of the portion thus excluded in said Proclamation No. 1152 shall be limited to a lease for a reasonable period, and that the purpose for which such lease may be allowed shall be limited to the use of the area as a parking and promenade area.
