Designation of Registers of Deeds of Misamis Oriental, Agusan and Nueva Ecija as Ex Officio Registers of Deeds

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 823
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE REGISTERS OF DEEDS OF THE PROVINCES OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, AGUSAN AND NUEVA ECIJA SHALL BE THE EX OFFICIO REGISTERS OF DEEDS FOR THE CITIES OF CAGAYAN DE ORO, BUTUAN, AND CABANATUAN, RESPECTIVELY, WHILE SAID CITIES CONTINUE TO BE THE CAPITALS OF SAID PROVINCES
SECTION 1. Any provision of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, the registers of deeds of the Provinces of Misamis Oriental, Agusan and Nueva Ecija shall be ex officio registers of deeds for the Cities of Cagayan de Oro, Butuan and Cabanatuan, respectively, while said cities continue as the capitals of said provinces, and shall each receive an additional compensation of five hundred pesos per annum, payable from the funds of the city concerned. cd
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
