CREATING AND DESIGNATING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN LOCATED AT BARANGAY DARONG, MUNICIPALITY OF STA. CRUZ, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, AS AGRO-INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 07-232 dated 16 May 2007 and Resolution No. 09-507 dated 14 October 2009, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located at Barangay Darong, Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Province of Davao del Sur as Agro-Industrial Economic Zone, containing an area of One Hundred Fifty Thousand (150,000) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description: DTIaHE

A parcel of land (Lot 599-A of the subdivision plan Psd-11-109760, being a portion of Lot 599, Cad-275), situated in the Barangay of Darong, Municipality of Sta. Cruz, Province of Davao del Sur, Island of Mindanao.

Bounded on the NE., along lines 6-7-8 by Lot 665, Cad-275 (Furukawa Plantation Co.); along line 8-9 by Lot 607, Cad-275 (Provincial Government of Davao); along line 9-10 by Lot 608, Cad-275 (Furukawa Plantation Co.); on the SE., along line 10-1 by Lot 602, Cad-275 (Ap-7667) (Now Davao-Cotabato National Highway); on the NE., SE., SW., NW., along lines 1-2-3-4-5 by Lot 599-B of the subdivision plan; along line 5-6 by Lot 575, Cad-275 (Beatriz Y.
