DECLARING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER AS "PEOPLE MANAGEMENT MONTH"
WHEREAS, the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will hold its 45th Annual Conference on September 24 to 26, 2008, with the theme "SA TAO MAGKAKATALO: PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE"; cSaATC
WHEREAS, the conference is designed as an exciting learning journey aimed at building organizations where people are recognized and empowered to make the difference;
WHEREAS, the conference aims to paint a business landscape that takes into account challenges and opportunities in the global, national and organizational levels;
WHEREAS, the conference will feature the use of innovative approaches, highlight advocacies, and showcase inspiring case studies and latest trends in human capital management.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of September as "People Management Month".
