DECLARING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2009 AS "PEOPLE MANAGEMENT MONTH"
WHEREAS, the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will hold its 46th Annual Conference on September 23-25, 2009, with the theme "BAYANIHAN";
WHEREAS, the conference will focus on the business challenges and cultural influences that influence our system and behavior, address leadership issues, scan the different human resource paradigms and frameworks, and proposes an alternative perspective on people management with a spiritual and reflective approach;
WHEREAS, the conference will also feature the use of innovative approaches and showcase inspiring case studies and latest trends in human capital management. AaEcHC
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the month of September 2009 as "People Management Month".
