PROCLAMATION NO. 2118
DECLARING EVERY SEPTEMBER 9TH AS DON SERGIO OSMEÑA, SR.'S DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CEBU AND ALL CITIES EMBRACED THEREIN
WHEREAS, September 9th marks the birth anniversary of the late President Sergio Osmeña, Sr., one of the country's greatest statesmen; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus attention on the exemplary life of the late President Sergio Osmeña, Sr.; cd
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare every September 9th as Don Sergio Osmeña, Sr.'s Day in the Province of Cebu and all the cities within the Province of Cebu.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 8th day of September in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-One.
