PROCLAMATION NO. 2241

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 21 TO 27, 1982, AS "AMATEUR RADIO WEEK"

WHEREAS, the Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc., (PARA) will be celebrating its 50th year anniversary on November 27, 1982; and acd

WHEREAS, it is desirable to draw attention on the role and significance of amateur radio in the country in the 50 years that its national organization has been organized;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 21 to 27, 1982, as "Amateur Radio Week" under the auspices of the Philippine Amateur Radio Association, Inc.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
