PROCLAMATION NO. 1847
DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 3, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN
WHEREAS, August 2, 2009, marks the celebration of the 58th Adlaw Hong Butuan, the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Butuan;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Butuan celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, August 3, 2009 be declared as a special non-working day instead of August 2, 2009, which falls on a Sunday;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. HSCATc
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GABRIEL S. CLAUDIO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, August 3, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Butuan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 31st day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Nine.
