Declaring May 28 as 'Araw ng Labanan sa Alapan' in Imus, Cavite
Republic Act No. 9091, enacted on April 8, 2001, designates May 28 of each year as "Araw ng Labanan sa Alapan," a special working public holiday in the Municipality of Imus, Cavite. This holiday commemorates the historic "Labanan sa Alapan." The Act takes effect immediately following its publication in two newspapers of general circulation. The law was officially published in the Official Gazette on July 30, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9091
AN ACT DECLARING EVERY 28TH DAY OF MAY AS ARAW NG LABANAN SA ALAPAN A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IMUS, CAVITE
SECTION 1. May 28 of every year is hereby declared as Araw ng Labanan sa Alapan a special working public holiday in the Municipality of Imus, Cavite, in commemoration of the historic "Labanan sa Alapan." IESAac
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect immediately after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
