PROCLAMATION NO. 2430

DECLARING JUNE 29, 1985 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN

WHEREAS, the 402nd anniversary of the establishment of the civil government of the Province of Cagayan falls on June 29, 1985; and

WHEREAS, the people therein desire to commemorate this milestone in the history of their province and every year thereafter with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare June 29, 1985 and every year thereafter as a non-working special public holiday in the Province of Cagayan as "Aggao Na Cagayan".

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
