DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BIÑAN, LAGUNA
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9740, otherwise known as the "Charter of the City of Biñan" transformed the Municipality of Biñan, Laguna into a component city, to be known as the City of Biñan; DTAcIa
WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections will conduct the plebiscite on Tuesday, February 2, 2010;
WHEREAS, in order to fully involve and empower the constituents of the Municipality of Biñan, Laguna to participate and cast their votes in the said plebiscite, there is a need to declare Tuesday, February 2, 2010 as a special non-working day.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, February 2, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Biñan, Laguna.
