The residents of Angeles City are encouraged to celebrate this significant day with appropriate activities. Despite the declaration, December 8 remains a regular working and school day. DECLARING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8, 1983, AS "ANGELES CITY DAY" IN ANGELES CITY
WHEREAS, December 8, 1983, signifies the foundation anniversary of Angeles City; and
WHEREAS, the city residents wish to mark this memorable day with fitting activities; cdt
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, December 8, 1983, as "Angeles City Day" in Angeles City. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
