Declaring December 2, 2008, as Special (Non-Working) Day in Pasay City
Proclamation No. 1672, issued on November 21, 2008, declares December 2, 2008, as a special (non-working) day in Pasay City to commemorate its 145th Foundation Day anniversary. This declaration allows the residents of Pasay City to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. The proclamation is signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The intent is to provide the people of Pasay City a full opportunity to engage in celebrations.

DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN PASAY CITY
WHEREAS, Tuesday, December 2, 2008, marks the 145th Foundation Day anniversary of Pasay City;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Pasay City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, December 2, 2008, as special (non-working) day in Pasay City.
