PROCLAMATION NO. 2409

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 2152, DATED DECEMBER 29, 1981, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE MANGROVE SWAMP FOREST RESERVES, AND DECLARING AS FOREST LAND FOR FISHPOND DEVELOPMENT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF UBAY, PROVINCE OF BOHOL, ISLAND OF VISAYAS

Upon recommendation of the Ministers of Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 2152, dated December 29, 1981, which established the Mangrove Swamp forest Reserves, and declare the said portion so excluded as forest lands suitable for fishpond development, subject to private rights, if any there be, as well as to the conditions that the utilization of timber and other forest products found therein shall be subject to Forest and Internal Revenue Laws and Regulations, the parcel of land of the public domain containing an approximate area of 37.0 hectares situated in the Municipality of Ubay, Province of Bohol, Island of Visayas, which is shown in BFD Map LC-3065 as Timberland Block-A and more particularly described as follows: acd

Beginning from corner 1, which is N 55º 59'W, 10,307.62 meters from BLLM No. 1 Cad. 554-D, Ubay, Bohol, being N 88º 37'E, about 181.05 meters to corner 2;

There are excluded from the operation of this proclamation a strip of 15 meters in width on each side of any public trail therein used as outlet for timber and other forest products, and a strip of 20 meters in width from the highest banks on each side of any stream for stream bank protection.
