PROCLAMATION NO. 602
DECLARING FRIDAY, 26 OCTOBER 2018, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental, celebrates the Sambuokan Festival every last weekend of October in commemoration of its date of establishment as a municipality before eventually becoming a city;
WHEREAS, on 26 October 2018, a Friday, the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental, will mark the celebration of the 18th Sambuokan Festival; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mati, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 26 October 2018, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mati, Province of Davao Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
