PROCLAMATION NO. 91
DECLARING FRIDAY, 28 OCTOBER 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MATI, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Mati celebrates the Sambuokan Festival every last weekend of October in commemoration of its date of establishment as a Municipality before eventually becoming a City; IDTSEH
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Mati, Davao Oriental requested that Friday, 28 October 2016, be declared as a special non-working day in the City of Mati, in celebration of the Sambuokan Festival;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mati be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 28 October 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Mati.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 24th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Sixteen.
