PROCLAMATION NO. 1336
DECLARING SATURDAY, 23 APRIL 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF BULACAN
WHEREAS, on 23 April 2022, Saturday, the Municipality of Plaridel, Province of Bulacan, will mark the celebration of the "Battle of Quingua";
WHEREAS, the Battle of Quingua was fought on 23 April 1899 in Plaridel, Bulacan, wherein the Filipino forces were under the command of General Gregorio del Pilar, and was one of the most significant victories of the Filipinos in the Philippine-American war; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Plaridel be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 23 April 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Plaridel, Province of Bulacan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
