PROCLAMATION NO. 451
DECLARING MONDAY, 23 APRIL 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PLARIDEL, PROVINCE OF BULACAN
WHEREAS, on Monday, 23 April 2018, the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan, marks the commemoration of the "Battle of Quingua";
WHEREAS, the Battle of Quingua was fought on 23 April 1899 in Plaridel, Bulacan, wherein the Filipino forces were under the command of General Gregorio del Pilar, and was one of the most significant victories of the Filipinos in the Philippine-American war; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 23 April 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
