DECLARING 2010 AS THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES COLLEGE OF FORESTRY AND NATURAL RESOURCES CENTENNIAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR) of the University of the Philippines (UP) is celebrating its centennial year this 2010;
WHEREAS, the UP CFNR desires to continue its role as a nurturer and developer of nature and environment;
WHEREAS, the declaration of the year 2010 as the UP CFNR Centennial Year shall make celebrations more memorable and significant.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the year 2010 as the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR) Centennial Year.
All graduates of the UP CFNR who are working in various government offices are hereby allowed to attend the grand centennial celebrations from April 18-23, 2010 on official time, provided that there will be no cost or expenditure on the part of the government offices concerned in terms of fees or travel allowances, which must be borne by the attendees.
