DECLARING THE YEAR 1984 AS "DIAMOND JUBILEE YEAR" OF THE CITY OF BAGUIO AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1984 AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY THEREAT
WHEREAS, the City of Baguio will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee (75th Anniversary) as a Chartered City on September 1, 1984; and acd
WHEREAS, the people of the City of Baguio desire to commemorate with fitting ceremonies, this historic milestone of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the year 1984 as "Diamond Jubilee Year" on the City of Baguio and Saturday, September 1, 1984, as a special public holiday in the said city.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
