PROCLAMATION NO. 314
DECLARING MONDAY, 18 SEPTEMBER 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR
WHEREAS, 17 September 2017 marks the 65th Provincial Anniversary of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur, to celebrate the occasion, the Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Sur requested that Monday, 18 September 2017 be declared as a special non-working day, instead of 17 September 2017, which falls on a Sunday; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province Zamboanga del Sur be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 18 September 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboanga del Sur.
