SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 21-07
CREATING THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON MEMORIAL RITES
WHEREAS, whenever an incumbent or retired member of the Court passes away, his or her mortal remains are brought to the Supreme Court for viewing and necrological services;
WHEREAS, during these occasions, preparations are necessary for the setting up of the venue, public announcements, holding of arrival and departure programs, as well as vigils, celebrations of masses, and holding of necrological services;
WHEREAS, there must be a coordination with members of the bereaved family from the time of death until the holding of the necrological services in the Supreme Court;
WHEREAS, there is a need for the creation of a Committee on Memorial Rites specially tasked to execute the aforementioned plans and responsibilities;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved that the Committee on Memorial Rites is hereby created and organized to be composed by the following —
