Creation of Certain Barrios in Monkayo, Davao
Republic Act No. 2744, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes two new independent barrios within the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Davao. The sitios of Palina, Quidapang, Banglasan, Kikonay, Casoon, Nagasi, and Tagbunawan are designated as the barrio of San Isidro, while the sitios of Banlag, Upper Totoy, Tina, Tuba-an, Tubu-an, Wagusan, and Bucana are designated as the barrio of Banlag. This Act became effective upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on January 23, 1961.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2744
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONKAYO, PROVINCE OF DAVAO
SECTION 1. The sitios of Palina, Quidapang, Banglasan, Kikonay, Casoon, Nagasi and Tagbunawan in the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Davao, are constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of San Isidro.
The Sitios of Banlag, Upper Totoy, Tina, Tuba-an, Tubu-an, Wagusan and Bucana in the Municipality of Monkayo, Province of Davao, are constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Banlag.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
