Creation of Certain Barrios in Almeria, Leyte
Republic Act No. 2799, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes several new barrios within the Municipality of Almeria, Province of Leyte. The barrios created are Tamarindo, Sampao, Eyusan, Salangi, and Lo'ok. This law took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 13, 1961. The act was enacted without the need for Executive approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2799
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALMERIA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE
SECTION 1. The following places in the Municipality of Almeria, Province of Leyte, are declared as barrios of said municipality, to wit:
1. Tamarindo as Barrio Tamarindo;
2. Sampao as Barrio Sampao;
3. Eyusan as Barrio Eyusan;
4. Salangi as Barrio Salangi; and
5. Lo'ok as Barrio Lo'ok.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
