Creation of Certain Barrios in Hilongos, Leyte
Republic Act No. 2552, enacted on June 21, 1959, establishes new barrios in the Municipality of Hilongos, Province of Leyte. The law converts specific sitios into barrios, namely: Tagnate (from Tagnate, Mahangin, Panas, and Hibunlod), Agutayan (from Agutayan, Lagtangon, Kandasig, and Katungawan), Campina (from Campina and Matigbaw), and Magnangoy (from Magnangoy). June 21, 1959
REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2552
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HILONGOS, PROVINCE OF LEYTE
SECTION 1. The following sitios in the Municipality of Hilongos, Province of Leyte, are constituted or converted as barrios of said municipality, to wit:
1. The sitios of Tagnate, Mahangin, Panas and Hibunlod to be known as the barrio of Tagnate;
2. The sitios of Agutayan, Lagtangon, Kandasig and Katungawan to be known as the barrio of Agutayan;
3. The sitios of Campina and Matigbaw to be known as the barrio of Campina; and
4. The sitio of Magnangoy to be known as the barrio of Magnangoy.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
