Creation of Barrio Litawan in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte
Republic Act No. 6184, enacted on June 19, 1971, establishes Barrio Litawan as a separate and independent barrio within the Municipality of Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte. This new barrio is formed by separating the sitios of Litawan, Besong, Supit Palatanan, Cumaron, Lindang, Durian, Sulitan, and Timulan from Barrio Panganuran. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on August 30, 1971.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6184
AN ACT CREATING BARRIO LITAWAN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIBUCO, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE
SECTION 1. The sitios of Litawan, Besong, Supit Palatanan, Cumaron, Lindang, Durian, Sulitan and Timulan in Barrio Panganuran, Municipality of Sibuco, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, are separated from said barrio, and constituted into a distinct and independent barrio in said municipality, to be known as Barrio Litawan.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
