CREATING AND DESIGNATING TWO-BUILDINGS TO BE KNOWN AS GERNARINE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER WHICH STANDS ON A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT ALTERNATE ROAD, LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 09-270 dated 10 June 2009 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Gernarine Information Technology Center as an Information Technology Center which stands on a parcel of land of the private domain located at Alternate Road, Legazpi City, Albay containing an area of One Thousand Nine (1,009) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description: DTcASE

A parcel of land (Lot 733-C-1-B-1 of the subdivision plan, Psd-05-030821, being a portion of Lot 733-C-1-B, Psd-05-021935, (LRC Rec. No. 91) situated in the Barangay of Poblacion, City of Legazpi, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the SW., along line 1-2 by Lot 733-C-1-A, Psd-05-021935; on the NW., along line 2-3 by Lot 733-B, Psd-05-004329; on the NE., along line 3-4 by Lot 733-C-1-B-29 right of Way of 2.00 m. wide) of the subdivision plan; on the SE., along line 4-1 by Lot 733-C-2, Psd-05-018292 (alternate road of 15.00 m. wide).

Beginning at a point marked '1' on plan, being S. 01 deg. 07' E., 492.57 m. from BLLM No. 5, Cad. 47, Legazpi Cadastre;

thence N. 11 deg. 50' W., 27.92 m. to point 2;

thence N. 86 deg. 49' E., 34.54 m. to point 3;

thence S. 13 deg. 53' E., 30.47 m. to point 4;

thence N. 89 deg. 29' W., 36.07 m. to point of

beginning; containing an area of One Thousand Nine (1,009) Square Meters, more or less. All corners referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground as follows: by PS cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 40 cm., bearings true; date of original survey on November 1914-April 1920 and that of the subdivision survey on June 13, 2001 by Geodetic Engineer Cristobal R. Pama, Jr., and was approved on June 29, 2001."
