CREATING AND DESIGNATING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAY PARAISO, SAGAY CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AS AGRO-INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 07-232 dated 16 May 2007 and Resolution No. 07-060 dated 13 February 2007, as amended by Resolution No. 08-387 dated 31 July 2008, of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, a parcel of land located at Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental as agro-industrial economic zone to be known as North Negros Agro-Industrial Export Processing Zone, with an area of Two Hundred Thousand (200,000) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description: HCISED

A parcel of land (Lot 1 of the consolidation-subdivision plan (LRA) Pcs-35615 approved as a non-subdivision project, being a portion of the consolidation of Lot 204-B, (LRC) Psd-38276 and Lot 203, Sagay Cadastral 127; L.R.C. Cad. Record No. 284), situated in the District Fabrica, Sagay City, Province of Negros Occidental, Island of Negros.

Bounded on the NW., and NE., points 17 to 32, by Lot 2 of the consolidation-subdivision plan; on the SE., and SW., points 32 to 1 and 1 to 10 by Lot 180, Sagay Cad. 127; on the SE., points 10 to 17 by Lot 204-A, (LRA) Psd-38276.
