Conversion of Sugbongcogon Municipal High School in Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental Into a National High School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 404, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Sugbongcogon Municipal High School in Misamis Oriental into the Sugbongcogon National High School, which will offer a general secondary curriculum, vocational courses, and other educational programs. BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 404
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SUGBONGCOGON MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SUGBONGCOGON, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SUGBONGCOGON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Sugbongcogon Municipal High School in the Municipality of Sugbongcogon, Province of Misamis Oriental, is hereby converted into a national school to be known as the Sugbongcogon National High School. Said school shall offer general secondary curriculum, vocational curriculum and other courses.
SECTION 2. The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
SECTION 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Bilang 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools and an additional amount corresponding to fifty percent of its share in the budgetary aid actually paid to it before such conversion shall be released for its operation from the national assistance fund to local schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
