Conversion of Salay Municipal High School in Salay, Misamis Oriental Into a National High School

Batas Pambansa Blg. 139, enacted on February 8, 1982, converts the Salay Municipal High School in Misamis Oriental into a national high school, named Salay National High School. The school will be supervised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. An initial funding of 200,000 pesos for its operation will be drawn from existing appropriations for new national schools, with subsequent operational costs included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on June 14, 1982.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE SALAY MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALAY, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS SALAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

SECTION 1. The Salay Municipal High School in Salay, Province of Misamis Oriental, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as Salay National High School. The said school shall be under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

SECTION 2. The amount of two hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools. Thereafter, the necessary sum for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd
