Conversion of Sibutu-Ligayan Provincial Road in Tawi-Tawi Into a National Road
Batas Pambansa Blg. 729, enacted on April 13, 1984, converts the Sibutu-Ligayan Provincial Road in Sitangkai, Tawi-Tawi, into a national road. The law stipulates that funding for the road's improvement and maintenance will come from the lump sum appropriation established under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 until future appropriations provide dedicated maintenance funds. The Act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on January 28, 1985.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 729
AN ACT CONVERTING THE SIBUTU-LIGAYAN PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI INTO A NATIONAL ROAD
SECTION 1. The Sibutu-Ligayan Provincial Road in the Municipality of Sitangkai, Province of Tawi-Tawi, is converted into a national road.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said road shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said road shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
