Batas Pambansa Blg. 748, enacted on April 13, 1984, converts the Bongao-Pahut-Sanga-Sanga Provincial Road in Tawi-Tawi into a national road. Funding for the improvement and maintenance of this road will initially come from existing appropriations for local roads until future appropriations are made. The law took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette later that year.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE BONGAO-PAHUT- SANGA-SANGA PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Bongao-Pahut-Sanga-Sanga Provincial Road in the Province of Tawi-Tawi is converted into a national road.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said road shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said road shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
