Conversion of Puerto Princesa City Pilot High School-Sta. Monica Annex into Puerto Princesa City National Science High School

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8287

AN ACT CONVERTING THE PUERTO PRINCESA CITY PILOT HIGH SCHOOL-STA. MONICA ANNEX IN THE CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, INTO A NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PUERTO PRINCESA CITY NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The existing locally funded Puerto Princesa City Pilot High School-Sta. Monica Annex in the City of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national science high school to be known as the Puerto Princesa City National Science High School.

SECTION 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. cdta

SECTION 3. All personnel, records, assets, and properties, including buildings, sites, and the improvements thereof, obligations, funds and appropriations of the Puerto Princesa City Pilot High School-Sta. Monica Annex are hereby transferred to the Puerto Princesa City National Science High School.

SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
