Conversion of Negros Oriental Rural School in Bayawan, Negros Oriental into a National Agricultural School

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3649
AN ACT CONVERTING THE NEGROS ORIENTAL RURAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BAYAWAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL, INTO A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL OF THE SUDLON AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL TYPE TO BE KNOWN AS THE NEGROS ORIENTAL NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Negros Oriental Rural School in the Municipality of Bayawan, Province of Negros Oriental, is hereby converted into a national agricultural school of the Sudlon Agricultural School type, which shall be known as the Negros Oriental National Agricultural School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education is being authorized to effect the reorganization of the Negros Oriental Rural School into the Negros Oriental National Agricultural School.
SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as additional fund for the reorganization, maintenance, and operation of said school for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four, aside from the current national aid for the maintenance and operation of the school. Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. casia
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
