AN ACT CONVERTING THE MLANG MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MLANG, PROVINCE OF NORTH COTABATO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MLANG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

SECTION 1. The Mlang Municipal High School in the Municipality of Mlang, Province of North Cotabato, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Mlang National High School. Said school shall offer a comprehensive curriculum which include both academic and vocational courses. The Minister of Education and Culture is hereby empowered to organize said school accordingly. cd i

Upon the organization of the Mlang National High School, the assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of the Mlang Municipal High School shall be transferred to the Mlang National High School.

SECTION 2. The Minister of Education and Culture shall implement the provisions of this Act so as to make the Mlang National High School in operation on the first school term after the effectivity of this Act.

SECTION 3. The amount of two hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be provided in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
