Conversion of Luis Hervias High School in Bacolod City Into a National High School

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 397
AN ACT CONVERTING THE LUIS HERVIAS HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LUIS HERVIAS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Luis Hervias High School in the City of Bacolod is converted into a national high school, to be known as the Luis Hervias National High School.
SECTION 2. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is directed to take such steps as are necessary for the conversion and operation of the school and immediate implementation of this Act. casia
SECTION 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide funding for its share in the cost of maintenance and operation of the school. Thereafter, the amount needed for the operation and maintenance of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
