Conversion of Glan Padidu High School Annex-B in Glan, Sarangani into Leonard Young, Sr. High School
Republic Act No. 7790, enacted on August 8, 1994, establishes the Leonard Young, Sr. High School by converting the Glan Padidu High School Annex-B in Barangay Big Margus, Sarangani Province, into an independent institution. The current head teacher of the annex will serve as the principal until a qualified replacement is appointed. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7790
AN ACT CONVERTING THE GLAN PADIDU HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX-B IN BARANGAY BIG MARGUS, MUNICIPALITY OF GLAN, PROVINCE OF SARANGANI, INTO AN INDEPENDENT HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LEONARD YOUNG, SR. HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Glan Padidu High School Annex-B in Barangay Big Margus, Municipality of Glan, Province of Sarangani, is hereby separated from the Glan Padidu High School in the same municipality and province and converted into an independent high school, to be known as the Leonard Young, Sr. High School.
SECTION 2. The present head teacher of the annex school shall act as the principal of the Leonard Young, Sr. High School until a new principal has been appointed and qualified for the position.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Glan Padidu High School Annex-B of the Glan Padidu High School. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
