Charge for Certificate of Transfer of Large Cattle
Republic Act No. 568, enacted on August 31, 1950, amends Section 528 of the Revised Administrative Code to increase the fee for a certificate of transfer of large cattle from two to five pesos. This fee is to be paid by the buyer and the proceeds are allocated to the treasury of the relevant city, municipality, or provincial district. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 568
AN ACT TO RAISE REVENUE BY RAISING FROM TWO TO FIVE PESOS THE CHARGE FOR THE CERTIFICATE OF TRANSFER OF LARGE CATTLE, BY AMENDING FURTHER SECTION FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT OF THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
SECTION 1. Section five hundred twenty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Two hundred thirty-one, is further amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 528. Charge for certificate of transfer — Disposal of the proceeds. — Each certificate of transfer shall bear printed on its face a form of stamp of the value of five pesos, which shall be duly cancelled with the seal of the city, municipality or municipal district concerned. The certificate required by this section shall be paid for by the buyer, and the money received therefor shall, in cities and organized municipalities, be paid into the city or municipal treasury, and in the case of municipal districts, into the provincial treasury for the benefit of the municipal district concerned."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval but unless otherwise expressly extended by Congress, the increased charge provided for in this Act shall continue in force and effect only until December 31, 1952, after which period the actual rates of charge shall again be in force.
