Change of Name of Bacolod-Murcia-San Carlos Road in Bacolod City to Romeo G. Guanzon Avenue
Republic Act No. 9464, approved on May 15, 2007, officially renames the Bacolod Section of the Bacolod-Murcia-San Carlos Road in Bacolod City to Romeo G. Guanzon Avenue. This 9.62-kilometer stretch extends from the junction of Araneta Street to the boundary with the Municipality of Murcia in Negros Occidental. The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9464
AN ACT RENAMING THE BACOLOD-MURCIA-SAN CARLOS ROAD (BACOLOD SECTION) IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD TO ROMEO G. GUANZON AVENUE
SECTION 1. The 9.62 kilometer stretch comprising the Bacolod Section of the Bacolod-Murcia-San Carlos Road from the junction of Araneta Street to the boundary of Bacolod City and the Municipality of Murcia in Negros Occidental, is hereby renamed as the Romeo G. Guanzon Avenue. THCASc
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
