SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 13-12

AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF FRINGE BENEFIT ON THE OCCASION OF THE CELEBRATION OF THE 111TH FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY OF THE SUPREME COURT

By virtue of the authority of the Chief Justice under Section 53 of the General Appropriations Act for FY 2012 (R.A. 10155) and paragraph (5) of Section 25 of Article VI of the Constitution; and pursuant to and conformably with Joint Resolution No. 1 of the Constitutional Fiscal Autonomy Group dated 03 April 1992 and in accordance with the resolution of the Court, dated May 30, 2012, in A.M. No. 12-5-4-SC, the Senior Associate Justice (Per Section 12, R.A. 296, the Judiciary Act of 1948, as amended) hereby authorizes the release, on the occasion of the 111th Foundation Anniversary of the Supreme Court on June 11, 2012, fringe benefit at the rate of TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND PESOS (P21,000.00), chargeable against the respective savings from the regular appropriations of the Supreme Court and the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET), as certified to by the Fiscal Management and Budget Office (FMBO), to each of the Members, officials and employees of the Supreme Court and the PET, whether such employees are permanent, temporary, coterminous or casual, provided that they are such as of June 10, 2012 and have rendered at least six (6) months of actual service as of that date.

Fringe benefit in the amount of SIXTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (P16,000.00) is likewise authorized to be released to each of the justices, officials and personnel of the three appellate courts (the Court of Appeals, the Sandiganbayan and the Court of Tax Appeals), chargeable against the respective savings from the regular appropriations of the said appellate courts, as certified to by their respective concerned officials, provided that they have not received similar fringe benefit given on the occasion of their respective anniversaries; otherwise, only the difference shall be paid.

The grant of the aforesaid fringe benefit shall be subject to the implementing guidelines hereto attached.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately and shall forthwith be implemented by the Presiding Justices of the Court of Appeals, the Sandiganbayan and the Court of Tax Appeals, the Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court, the Chiefs of the Office of Administrative Services and the FMBO of the Supreme Court.
