SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 26-2016
APPOINTING THE PHILIPPINE JUDICIAL ACADEMY (PHILJA) CHIEF OF OFFICE FOR THE PHILIPPINE MEDIATION CENTER
WHEREAS, the position of PHILJA Chief of Office for the Philippine Mediation Center is vacant; the notice of vacancy and the deadline for the filing of the applications for appointment thereto were duly published; and the matrix (showing the applicants' present positions with salary grades, highest educational attainment, performance rating, relevant experiences, trainings and seminars, dates of entrance to the Supreme Court, and dates of last promotion) prepared by the Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Eden T. Candelaria were submitted to the Chief Justice;
WHEREAS, evaluations have been made based on the criteria for the selection of the most qualified applicants;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Judicial Academy has submitted its recommended applicant to the position, for a term of two (2) years, without prejudice to subsequent reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned, for and in behalf of the Supreme Court, by virtue of and pursuant to the power and authority vested in the revised Resolution in A.M. No. 99-12-08-SC, do hereby appoint ATTY. BRENDA JAY A. MENDOZA as PHILJA Chief of Office for the Philippine Mediation Center.
This appointment shall take effect on the 28th day of June 2016. CAIHTE
