SUPREME COURT ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 151-10
APPOINTING ATTY. ENRIQUETA ESGUERRA-VIDAL AS CLERK OF COURT OF THE SUPREME COURT
WHEREAS, the position of Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court of the Philippines became vacant on August 25, 2010 due to the compulsory retirement of Atty. Ma. Luisa D. Villarama;
WHEREAS, the paramount interest of public service demands that the said vacant position be filled up as soon as possible;
WHEREAS, after due deliberation on the qualifications of the applicants for the position, the members of the Supreme Court by a vote of 7-3 (with Justice Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr. on official leave, and Justices Antonio Eduardo B. Nachura, Teresita Leonardo-de Castro, Arturo D. Brion and Jose Catral Mendoza on official business) have determined that Atty. Enriqueta Esguerra-Vidal is the most qualified for the position.
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to, and by virtue of, the authority vested by the revised Resolution in A.M. No. 99-12-08-SC, and for and in behalf of the Court, the undersigned hereby APPOINTS Atty. ENRIQUETA ESGUERRA-VIDAL as Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court, vice Atty. Ma. Luisa D. Villarama.
This appointment shall take effect immediately.
